Perdido Key
Located on a narrow strip of snow-white beaches and crystal blue waters, Perdido Key is located in the Florida panhandle, between Pensacola, Florida, and Orange Beach, Alabama.
No more than a few hundred yards wide in most places, Perdido Key stretches some 16 miles, with almost 60 percent of it located in federal or state parks – making it one of the last remaining unblemished stretches of wilderness on the Gulf of Mexico.
Perdido is a unique area located in both Alabama and Florida surrounded by beach communities such as Orange Beach & Gulf Shores, AL, agricultural areas such as Lillian, AL & Beulah, FL and more urban communities such as Warrington, Navy Point, Belleview, and other outlying communities within Escambia County Florida and Baldwin County Alabama.
Lifeguards are available at beach access two on Saturday, May 24th. Lifeguard coverage will continue through Sunday, August 10th.
