Annual Award Winners

Each year, the Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce honors outstanding businesses, organizations, and individuals who have made a lasting impact on our community. These prestigious awards are presented at the Chamber's Annual Meeting and Awards Celebration, recognizing the excellence, innovation, leadership, and community service that help shape and strengthen the Perdido area.

Winners are nominated by fellow members and Chamber staff and selected for their exemplary contributions to the mission of the Chamber and the greater Perdido Key area.

2025-2026 Membership Awards

Perdido Key Bike Rentals started by meeting a need with bike delivery and has since grown into a full storefront on the Key. Having bike rentals available along the multi-use path has changed how both locals and visitors get around and enjoy Perdido Key, making the island more active and accessible.

The Rising Star Award celebrates a new business that has demonstrated exceptional growth, innovation, and visibility within the community. This award honors the entrepreneurial spirit, dedication, and hard work it takes to make a lasting impact in the early stages of business development. The recipient exemplifies the vibrant energy and commitment that drive success, serving as a shining example of the potential and promise of new ventures in the area.

Warrior Beer Company is always willing to help both the Chamber and the community. They regularly open their space for events and opportunities that benefit Perdido Key and go above and beyond to support others, even outside of Chamber activities.

Member of the Year Award is presented to a business or individual who has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, engagement, and service. This honor highlights members who go above and beyond to embody the Chamber's mission, foster collaboration, and strengthen the vibrancy of Perdido Key.

Secret Santa of Perdido Key is a local non-profit with a heart for the community. While widely known for their Christmas efforts, their support extends year-round, assisting families in times of need, including emergencies. Their generosity and compassion have made a meaningful and lasting impact on Perdido Key since 1992.

Non-profit of the year award honors an outstanding organization that has demonstrated exceptional dedication, impact, and service to our community. This award celebrates a non-profit that embodies the spirit of giving, innovation, and collaboration, making a lasting difference in the lives of those it serves.

A truly dedicated volunteer, Celeste Bell consistently goes above and beyond as a Chamber Ambassador. She warmly welcomes new members, takes the time to learn about their businesses and stories, and ensures they feel truly connected. Celeste is always eager to help at events, arriving early, staying late. She is an invaluable asset to the Chamber and the Ambassador Committee.

The Ambassador of the Year Award celebrates an outstanding Chamber Ambassador whose enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment strengthen connections, welcome new members, and promote the Chamber’s mission.

Vickie Loper is the ultimate professional, known for her positivity, kindness, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever needed. Her civic engagement and dedication to serving the community reflect the values this award represents. Vickie serves on the Perdido Chamber Board of Directors as well as being involved in Ambassadors of the Key and so many places in our community working to help the betterment of the Perdido Key Area.

Bill Stromquist Community Service Award was established to honor the memory and decades of service that Bill gave to the chamber and community and his legacy reflects selflessness and dedication to the Chamber and the Perdido community. This award honors an individual who exemplifies a deep commitment to serving others and making a positive impact within our Perdido Key area. It is a testament to the power of community spirit and the extraordinary difference one person can make.

Judy Davis is always willing to help others in the community. Whether providing direct assistance or guiding someone to the right resource, her generosity and dedication never waver. Judy truly embodies the spirit of this award through her selfless service and unwavering commitment to making Perdido Key a better place.

The Pat McClellan Island Spirit Award (the Pat) honors an individual whose dedication, service, and leadership embody the true spirit of Perdido Key. The recipient of this award demonstrates a deep love for Perdido Key and a willingness to invest their time, talents, and resources to make a lasting impact. Through their actions, they inspire & help others, foster community pride, and exemplify the values of collaboration, stewardship, and service that leave a lasting impact on our island, its residents and tourists
