Each year, the Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce honors outstanding businesses, organizations, and individuals who have made a lasting impact on our community. These prestigious awards are presented at the Chamber's Annual Meeting and Awards Celebration, recognizing the excellence, innovation, leadership, and community service that help shape and strengthen the Perdido area.

Winners are nominated by fellow members and Chamber staff and selected for their exemplary contributions to the mission of the Chamber and the greater Perdido Key area.

Member of the Year Award is presented to a business or individual who has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, engagement, and service. This honor highlights members who go above and beyond to embody the Chamber's mission, foster collaboration, and strengthen the vibrancy of Perdido Key.

The Kiwanis Club of Big Lagoon is a true force for good—doing great things in our community to support local schools and youth, championing programs that uplift military families, and showing unwavering dedication to the Barrancas Wreaths project. Their tireless efforts to raise support for Wreaths Across America ensure our fallen heroes are honored year after year.

Non-Profit of the Year – Kiwanis Club of Big Lagoon

Non-profit of the year award honors an outstanding organization that has demonstrated exceptional dedication, impact, and service to our community. This award celebrates a non-profit that embodies the spirit of giving, innovation, and collaboration, making a lasting difference in the lives of those it serves.

Ambassador of the Year – Lisa Alden

A truly dedicated volunteer, Lisa is always ready to lend a hand when needed. Her consistent presence, willingness to help at events, and genuine commitment to the Perdido Chamber make her an invaluable part of our team.

Ambassador of the Year – This award celebrates the top Ambassador of the Key and their unwavering enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment to fostering connections, welcoming new members, and promoting the Chamber’s mission.

Tim’s unwavering dedication to the Perdido community and his lasting impact on the Perdido area perfectly reflect the legacy of this award. Tim serves on the Perdido Chamber Board of Directors as well as being involved in so many places in our community working to help the betterment of the Perdido Key Area.

Bill Stromquist Community Service Award – Tim Pyle, Perdido Realty

Bill Stromquist Community Service Award was established to honor the memory and decades of service that Bill gave to the chamber and community and his legacy reflects selflessness and dedication to the Chamber and the Perdido community. This award honors an individual who exemplifies a deep commitment to serving others and making a positive impact within our Perdido Key area. It is a testament to the power of community spirit and the extraordinary difference one person can make.

Blitz Polston Island Spirit Award – Josh Brown, Beachbilly Lifestyle

Josh embodies the true heart of Perdido Key with his uplifting energy, local pride, and passion for spreading positivity through Beachbilly Lifestyle. He is a champion for our Perdido Key Community.

Blitz Polston Island Spirit Award is in memory of one of most beloved members, Blitz Poston. Blitz was a shining light, known to all for his dedication to the positive promotion of the Perdido Community. We are honored to present the prestigious award, celebrating an individual who embody the true essence of our community. This award recognizes outstanding dedication, leadership, and a genuine passion for making Perdido Key a better place. Each year, we are proud to acknowledge an individual who goes above to and beyond to promote, uplift and inspire, leaving a lasting impact on our island, its residents and tourists.
