Applications Now Open for Leadership Perdido Key Class of 2026
Are you ready to grow as a leader while making a lasting impact on the Perdido Key community? The Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the Leadership Perdido Key (LPK) Class of 2026.
Leadership Perdido Key is a dynamic leadership development program designed to equip emerging and established leaders with the knowledge, skills, and connections needed to make a meaningful difference in their organizations and throughout the Perdido Key area.
Through engaging workshops, expert-led discussions, behind-the-scenes tours, and immersive learning experiences, participants gain a deeper understanding of the industries, organizations, and people that shape our community.

Who Should Apply?
Leadership Perdido Key is ideal for professionals who are:
- Currently serving in decision-making roles or preparing to step into leadership positions.
- Passionate about the future of Perdido Key and Escambia County.
- Looking to expand their leadership abilities and professional network.
- Committed to becoming active, engaged community leaders.
To maintain an interactive and impactful experience, only 15 participants will be selected for the 2026 class. The selection committee strives to create a diverse class representing a variety of industries, backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
Applicant Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a minimum of two years of professional work experience.
- Be willing to commit the necessary time to fully participate in the program.
- Have the support of their employer for both the time and financial commitment required.
Program Commitment
Leadership Perdido Key is a hands-on experience that requires active participation. Sessions are held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and participants are expected to attend each session whenever possible.
While occasional unforeseen circumstances are understandable, attendance is an important part of the program. Participants who miss more than one session may be reviewed by the Leadership Perdido Key Committee to determine graduation eligibility.
Tuition
The tuition for Leadership Perdido Key is $500 per participant.
Tuition includes:
- All educational sessions
- Program materials
- Field trips and tours
- Meals and refreshments
- Graduation celebration
Tuition may be paid by either the participant or their employer and will be invoiced upon acceptance into the program. Payment is due by August 21, 2026.

Session topics and dates are subject to change if necessary due to scheduling or planning conflicts.
